StreetReporter training wiki

Wikis are for people to easily collaborate on the creation of content. Wikipedia, one of the most successful projects on the web, is a wiki.

This page is the wiki for collaborating on training projects on the Streetreporter website. Crucially it is a self-organising space.

Here is a step-by-step guide to using the wiki.

Please try to build the structure of the wiki as you go along.

Here's an example: Let's say people are talking about which cameras to buy, and you want to talk about digital SLRs - for that you should create a sub-page for digital SLR cameras. But then someone else wants to talk about video cameras - that is not a sub-page off the digital SLR cameras page, but a sub-page off the original camera page.

So when you add content, think if you are writing it in the right place, and enjoy adding to the fund of knowledge which the wiki pages will be by making it really useful, like wikipedia.

If in any doubt, please contact the folks at info@visionon.tv

PRESENT: Nick. Kairon, Julia, Lene, Hamish, David, Richard

We shared the progress on our different documenatry projects:

Julai and Lene on forced CBT, Kairon on dumpster diving, David on one-word vox-pops, Nick on Colombia, Richard on housing doc and Ridley Road campaign.

We discussed what the style/format of each could be, and what the obstacles were for us making progress.

And we drank some wine.

6pm Tuesday 26 January in the 1st floor cafeteria of the Hive Dalston. (better and warmer than the warehouse upstairs!)
